NBA Player Props for November 25th
Jayson Tatum, OVER 35 points+rebounds+assists:
Jayson Tatum has had one MVP season. I doubt he’ll win because there are so many other great players putting up crazy numbers, but Tatum needs to get his flowers too. He’s in position for a great matchup when the Celtics take on the Kings tonight. The Kings are 28th in the league in adjusted defensive scoring, and they’re also 5th in the league in pace. That means the Celtics will score at will and have plenty of possession in return. Jayson Tatum will be at the heart of almost every play. I would be willing to take this bet up to OVER 40 P+R+A.
Ben Simmons OVER 20 points+rebounds+assists:
Ben Simmons isn’t exactly back to full strength, but trust me, he’s getting there. He exorcised some demons from the past after going to Philly and dropping 11/11/7/3/3 while being booed the entire time. He hasn’t exactly played lockdown defense despite the blocks and steals, but he’s looking more confident every day. On offense and defense. In a matchup against the Pacers, they face a 23rd-rank defense and top-10 pace. Ben Simmons will have plenty of opportunities to snag boards, facilities and transitional buckets. Bet accordingly!
Anthony Davis OVER 40 points+rebounds+assists:
In lobbying for Anthony Davis to be traded to the Lakers, LeBron envisioned a big jack of all trades capable of running the franchise after LeBron retired and bearing the burden when he missed the time. They’ve already won a league so it was all worth it, but he couldn’t fight off the injury virus and shoulder the burden. AD has been sensational in the last few games. with at least 30 points and at least 15 boards in each of the last three. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Going up against the taking Spurs should produce similar results. However, I wouldn’t bet much more than 40 PRA as I think it’s wiser to expect a return to the mean.
