England captain Harry Kane was spotted wearing a $950,000 rainbow diamond watch in Qatar.

The Tottenham superstar and his national team faced widespread criticism around the world this week when they withdrew their planned support for the LGBTQ+ community at the World Cup in Qatar.

Ahead of England’s tournament opener against Iran, it was reported that the team were planning to have Kane wear a rainbow-colored captain’s armband, despite threats from FIFA.

In the end, Kane and the other European countries bowed to FIFA’s demands and instead wore plain armbands that said “No Discrimination” to the world.

The row between European countries and the football federation threatened to become explosive, and now it has been revealed that Denmark is planning talks with other Uefa member countries over a possible exit from FIFA over its gag order at the World Cup.

Seven European teams had gone public with their intention to wear rainbow-colored “One Love” bracelets to promote inclusion and LGBTQ+ rights to put pressure on their home country, while same-sex relationships remain illegal in Qatar.

The sun The seven captains of the European teams were reportedly warned by FIFA that they could face a “minimum penalty” yellow card for wearing the armbands.

Germany sent a defiant message to FIFA with an iconic team photo ahead of the shocking World Cup loss to Japan yesterday.

Their players lined up for the pre-game team photo and everyone covered their mouths with their right hands – an act to show they had been silenced by tournament organizers.

It has now emerged that England hero Kane, who trained again today after suffering bad luck ahead of Friday’s clash with the USA, has also made his personal statement.

The 29-year-old led the team from the team coach to the dressing room at Khalifa International Stadium ahead of the 6-2 win against Iran, wearing a $950,000 Rainbow Rolex.

Instagram account Insane Luxury Life shared a snap of the watch previously worn by Stormzy to the Brit Awards 2020 and the star who wore it.

And they captioned it: “Captain of England @harrykane wears a rare @rolex Daytona ‘Rainbow’ 116595RBOW in 18k rose gold, one of the most coveted pieces on the market.

“This masterpiece is set with 36 baguette-cut rainbow sapphires on the bezel, 56 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case and 11 baguette-cut rainbow sapphires as hour markers.

“The Daytona Rainbow was first released in 2012 in 18k white gold and 18k yellow gold, at that time they were not very appreciated by the market. #Rolex.”

They then shared that the sale price is $135,850 while the current market price is $950,000.

The sheer opulence of the play has also sparked backlash against Kane for such a brazen display of wealth. It shows that the ingenious protest may actually have been madness.

It comes amid news that Qatar has been ordered by FIFA to no longer force fans to remove their rainbow hats when entering stadiums.

Security forces cracked down on supporters wearing pro-LGBTQ+ clothing at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium ahead of Wales’ 1-1 draw with USA.

Fans reported being forced to remove rainbow colored bucket hats, rainbow bracelets and even rainbow shoelaces.

And one man even reported that he was denied entry to the stadium because he was wearing a t-shirt with a rainbow on it.

LGBTQ+ rights have been at the heart of controversy surrounding the World Cup – with same-sex relationships being punishable by death in Qatar.

Welsh fan group The Rainbow Wall reported that only women were targeted and forced to remove their rainbow clothes.

And that included former Welsh football star Laura McAllister.
