Speaking to India Today, actress Sapthami Gowda explained how the reality of Kantara’s incredible success is still evident, sharing that “we still haven’t digested the fact that the film has grown so big.”
“We’re just happy that the film, which we made with so much love, is reaching the audience. The reason we thank the people of Karnataka is because the film captured such an audience through their word of mouth. In Mumbai we get such great reviews. It hits us when we go on Twitter and see people talking about it. When people around us talk about it, it makes us proud. Otherwise, everything has changed internally for us. We’re just happy.” – Sapthami Gowda, via India Today.
